solid hardwood floors

  Introduction

Coswick Hardwood Flooring has an exceptional reputation for its quality and service both in Europe and North America.
Our reputation in built on a solid foundation of:
- striving for excellence;
- loyalty and honesty;
- social and environmental responsibility.

  History

Initially COSWICK flooring was presented on the market in 1995. At that time, following the market trends, COSWICK was producing unfinished solid strip flooring.
With the best German woodworking traditions inherited, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and headed by young and energetic team, COSWICK quickly set up a new quality benchmark in flooring industry.

COSWICK line of prefinished flooring was introduced in 2002. Innovative ProAlumTech finishing system guarantees finish of exceptional appearance and performance.
COSWICK manufacturing process in completely integrated – the company operates its own sawmills, milling shops, kilns, finishing lines and recycling facilities. State-of-the-art equipment and technology are being used at every stage of production.

Reflecting growing market interest in more natural looking and nature-friendly floors, COSWICK introduced  Wire-Brushed & Oiled flooring line in 2004.
2007 was another benchmark for innovative growth of Coswick. Construction of a new manufacturing plant for production of 3-layer engineered flooring has started. COSWICK engineered flooring line is expected to hit the market in 2008.

  COSWICK and Environment

Solid environmental practices are the key priority at COSWICK Hardwood Flooring.
100% of wood residue and sawdust that are generated in production are being recycled. Part of them is used as fuel for our kilns, and the rest is being recycled into wood pellets. Wood pellets are widely used in Europe for home heating.
Raw lumber that is used for COSWICK floors comes as a result of selective cutting from local sustainable forests. COSWICK works together with local government organizations to protect and maintain green environments.
