  Silk Oil finish

Silk Oil finish consists of 4 coats of deep penetrating oil applied to the wood. Unlike lacquer finish, oil finish does not seal wood grains. Oil penetrates the wood and crystallizes in its fibers. As a result, oil finished floors have beautiful open grains that highlight deep natural texture of the wood.

Oil finished floors feel warm and silky smooth under your feet. Walking barefoot on oiled floors feels incredible!
The absolute advantage of having oiled flooring is simplicity of their maintenance and repair. Vacuum and wet mopping is all that is required for regular maintenance. Oiled flooring never has to be sanded and refinished. Depending on traffic, it is recommended to re-oil your COSWICK oiled floors every couple of years. COSWICK Re-cover oil can be applied directly over the old finish.
