European-Style House in the Centre of Nizhny Novgorod

Simple shapes, natural materials, muted colour palette and lots of air: a recipe for a comfortable and spacious home without bells and whistles for quiet life with two kids.

A combination of different neutral tones creates a rich palette and complex colour solutions in the interior design.

Flooring, ceiling in the bedroom and in the study on the attic were laid using Coswick ash planks in light beige to chocolate brown, with deep variation and unique fiber patterns. Natural wood flooring gave the interior a sense of warmth and coziness.

Coswick ash 3-layer hardwood flooring in Canadian Cedar finish was used in the project.

“The main idea for the project was to create a modest but cozy European style interior design. Big windows, huge amount of space, discreet colours, open layout and functional furniture”.
