Country Oak Flooring Collection Expanded with New Designer Color
Coswick Hardwood is pleased to announce that its popular collection of Country Oak hardwood flooring is being expanded with a new designer color, Muscat. The new floor will be of interest to homeowners, interior designers and architects who prefer natural color tones and pronounced grain texture in hardwood flooring.
In Muscat oak flooring, rich brown stain is used to complement the pronounced grain texture that distinguishes white oak from other wood species. Available in Tavern 2 grade, Muscat flooring is characterized by prominent color variation, unlimited natural burls and streaks, open or filled knots, and even wormholes – all natural features of real wood that together create a beautifully aged one-of-a-kind look.
Muscat oak flooring is wire brushed and comes with factory applied Silk Oil finish. This finishing technology consists of 4 layers of UV cured protective oil that penetrates into the wood surface, protecting flooring from effects of moisture, dust and dirt from the inside. In addition to having a silky and warm surface feel, silk oiled hardwood flooring is very easy to maintain. Wirebrushed surface and matte surface sheen make Muscat oak flooring very forgiving – small dents, scratches and other signs of wear are hardly noticeable on the floor surface; they blend in with natural grain texture of white oak, adding more character to the floor over time.
“Muscat Oak is the latest of 10 designer floors in our Country Oak flooring collection,” stated Vladimir Ianovski, founder and CEO of Coswick Hardwood Inc. “It effectively completes our palette of natural and earthly tones for this style of flooring.”
Coswick Country Oak flooring is used in traditional and period homes, lakeside cottages, as well as other residential and commercial interiors that call for a floor that looks naturally aged, and is easy to maintain.
Oak Muscat flooring comes as 3/4” thick solid hardwood and is available in 2 widths, 4 ¼” and 5”. All floors in Country Oak collection are covered under lifetime structural warranty, which ensures that hardwood flooring will retain its structural integrity for a lifetime.
Already in production, Muscat oak flooring will become available for purchase in North America in August 2012.
