New Flooring Collection: Arts & Crafts

All of us here at Coswick are thrilled to announce the launch of our new collection of wide plank engineered hardwood flooring. The new flooring collection features 7 ½” x 7’ (160mm х 2100mm) wide plank fixed length oak flooring and comes with factory applied eco-friendly oil and wax finishes.

The new wide plank Arts & Crafts collection takes its name from designer movement that emerged in Europe at the turn of XXth century. The advocates of the Arts and Crafts Movement preferred simple forms and folk style of decoration. The new wide plank collection shifts focus from sophisticated color and finish to authentic attributes of natural oak: width and length of planks create a large plank surface area that includes a wide range of natural wood knots, worm holes, streaks, burls and natural color variation. “It’s all about going back to nature, and bringing nature’s own patterns and designs into the modern living space,” says Vladimir Ianovski, founder of Coswick Hardwood Inc.

Wide plank flooring collection comes prefinished with Eco Silk Oil and Eco Silk Wax. Both finishes are environmentally friendly, and are derived from natural ingredients, including seed oil. In addition to protecting the floor from dirt, grit and moisture, Eco Oil and Wax preserve the natural textured look and feel of wood.

The new flooring collection is available as 3-layer engineered CosLoc 5G flooring. This innovative flooring technology allows for quick and worry free floating installation. CosLoc 5G flooring is distinguished by superior dimensional stability, and can be used in a wide range of interiors. Floating method of installation requires no special training and thus significantly cuts installation costs. CosLoc 5G technology is licensed by Valinge Innovation (Sweden).
