Clients are educated and active people from Minsk, adepts of healthy lifestyle and environmentally friendly living. So it makes no surprise that when looking for a new place to live they have chosen a house by the lake.
Their main wish was for a dominating colour white, also less furniture, more air and light, and use of natural materials. As the works went on the picturesque lake view started to sip into the house, filling it with all shades of water, from turquoise to deep blue. The reflected sunsets and sunrises added pink and crimson.
Just like clients wanted, some of their familial heirlooms, furniture, was used in the interior design. Some items were carefully restored, some renovated, giving it a new look; each item found its place. Coswick hardwood flooring was used throughout the house. It’s rustic look with knots reminds of old plank flooring. The design now looked like it has history and depth.
Coswick oak Titanium Buff hardwood flooring was used in the project.

“Ascetic, rational consumption, weighing of purpose of every element, that’s what made creating this design a particularly interesting quest. We were working with unusual aesthetics, classic house with many pieces of furniture that had to be brought together, and we managed to create a modern design that delights the owners”.
