Symbolic Interior

Light and full of symbolism, an apartment for a young woman in the centre of Saint Petersburg where evert detail speaks to the character and tastes of its owner. Alyona Kitayeva, the designer, tried to create a sensitive, characterful yet warm and positive feeling that combines Mediterranean palette with Asian peculiarities, mixing textures and pictures and focusing on tactility when arranging for materials. All the furniture and accessories were custom made to the designer’s sketches.

Coswick Herringbone Davy’s Grey Oak was used in the project.

“One of the first things to consider was the flooring. I’m a fan of Coswick’s colour range so it came naturally to me when doing the visualization. Herringbone in Davy’s Grey, what’s not to love?”
