When a designer works on their own home, every decision becomes a personal experiment. This project is a vivid example of how a professional approach, budget control, and thoughtful material selection can transform two separate apartments into a cohesive and harmonious living space.
The interior combines a studio and a three-room apartment with a total area of over 110 m². The core concept is contemporary minimalism with classical elements. The color palette is restrained and versatile: shades of grey and white, accented with blue and red. Special attention is given to textures and lighting — fr om decorative 3D panels and various smart home lighting scenarios to a mix of wood, stone, glass, and metal. Here, natural materials and modern technologies come together to create a timeless interior wh ere style and comfort go hand in hand.
Two types of Coswick engineered hardwood flooring were chosen: american walnut in Natural décor and oak in Ginger décor. Both décors feature expressive wood grain and warm natural tones, adding visual depth and coziness to the space.
The project reflects not only the author’s taste and professionalism, but also proves that high-quality natural materials are a reliable foundation for a modern and functional interior.
The project features three-layer engineered Oak flooring in the Ginger décor and American Walnut flooring in the Natural décor.
