Pelican Piano Bar – interior with a distinct feature of the English colonial style. It was formed under the influence of India culture, a former British colony. Catchy decor and bright colors, arched windows and mirrors, glass cabinet and exotic plants. These all are reference to the classic interior.
The abundance of wood in the decoration – the main thing remained unchanged. The ash-paneled smoking-room, with its soft leather sofas and Coswick Herringbone hardwood flooring. It is just a sample of the traditional English style. From furniture to plaster stucco. From classic wooden panels to a marble bar. Almost everything, is made according to the sketches of designer Natalia Galonskaya.
The walls of the whole bar were decorated with extravagant paintings by the writer and artist Adam Globus. These paintings brought a delicate irony to this officially-aristocratic interior with a concert grand piano. Here we want to back straight, make conversations and listen to good music. At the same time, you can feel the energy of freedom, travel and creativity.
In 2019, at the republican competition “Professional interior”, Natalia Galonskaya’s Pelican Piano Bar project was recognized as the best in the category “restaurant, bar, cafe”.
Coswick plank hardwood flooring Chestnut from Herringbone collection is used in the project.
