The interior of this spacious apartment in a Chinese metropolis is designed in a romantic minimalist style and combines functionality and restrained sensuality. The designer achieves this effect through the simplicity of lines, purity of shades and conciseness of interior objects, following the principle “less is more”.
The space is filled with light, breathes openness, but at the same time takes into account the need for privacy. Furniture and decor create a sense of lightness, calm and balance.White and black colors serve as the basis of the color palette, while warm wood and discreet natural shades give the interior softness and naturalness, as if inviting you to relax. The interior uses natural materials with simple and pleasant textures: wood, natural stone, cotton and linen fabrics. Wooden hardwood flooring reinforces the connection with nature, giving the space a lively and cozy sound.
“In this busy and chaotic world, we strive not just for an ordinary space to live in, but for a happy corner, where the soul finds peace and harmony,” says the project author, designer Chen Dong.
3-layer Coswick Oak hardwood flooring in Snowdrop décor was used in the project.
