Terracotta and Grey

This project was a contestant in the Best Interior 2021 competition.

It started with terracotta tiles. Clients loved the colour and it became one of the main tonal accents in the monochrome design.

The family enjoys spending time together so the kitchen was combined with the living room, turning it into a true heart of the house. Thanks to reorganising space, bedroom included a big coatroom, and the bathroom included a washing room.

Spread around the apartment, hot terracotta isles gave it energy. Multitude of synergising greys with varied texture provided depth and dynamicity. Black kitchen facades and furniture work as highlights with warmer base tone of the hardwood flooring warming up the coolness of other surfaces and bringing it all together.

Coswick Chambord oak hardwood flooring was used in the project.

“In my projects I focus on details, forms, art. This space has several graphic art pieces I’ve made, and they mesh together perfectly”.
